Unforgettable trail memories: sell riders the photos of their descents

Photos shot on the trails, processed and published automatically, found by riders with two filters and purchased from their phone. The photographer shoots — SHARED.MEDIA does everything else.

The problem, today

Every descent is a sellable moment. Unless the workflow gets in the way.

Bike parks have the perfect content — adrenaline, jumps, roots — but the traditional flow wastes it:

Hours lost selecting and uploading

The photographer spends more time at the PC than on the trails: manual selection, folders, USB sticks, file transfers.

Photos nobody can find

Without trail and time filters, riders give up. Great shots that never earn a cent.

Desk-only sales

Whoever doesn’t decide on the spot is lost. And season-end park/photographer accounting is a nightmare.

How it works here

From trail to cart in four steps

Proven at one of Europe’s best-known MTB destinations:

01 — SHOOT

At the best spots on the trail

The photographer works as always: jumps, berms, iconic sections. No proprietary hardware.

02 — PROCESS

Two clicks and the day is online

The desktop app processes and uploads automatically: watermark, cataloguing by trail, date and time.

03 — DELIVER

Riders find themselves

Simple filters on the park’s branded web app: trail, day, time slot. Instant previews.

04 — SELL

At the desk and from the couch

Built-in purchase from the phone, right away or days later. Automatic emails recover abandoned carts.

Success story

Dolomiti Paganella Bike

Dolomiti Paganella Bike: an ecosystem that works

The starting point. The official photographer lost hours to manual selection and uploads, sales stopped at the desk, and there was no transparent tracking of park/photographer commissions.

What we did. A white-label e-commerce portal under the Dolomiti Paganella Bike brand: galleries organised by trail and time, integrated online sales and share splitting tracked in the system.

  • Revenue growth driven by abandoned-cart emails
  • Photographer’s IT admin time: zero
  • Park/photographer commissions calculated and settled automatically
  • Smooth purchase experience straight from the rider’s phone

“An effective system for selling photos taken at bike parks. Intuitive search and a smooth purchase flow. A great ally that strengthens marketing and local loyalty.”

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does a rider find their photos among thousands of shots?

With the web app filters: trail, date and time slot. Previews appear in seconds and riders instantly recognise their descent. No manual searching by your staff.

Our photographer won’t change the way they work.

They don’t have to. We add one folder to their PC: they drop the photos in, and SHARED.MEDIA applies watermarks, builds the galleries and handles sales automatically.

How is revenue split between the bike park and the photographer?

The system tracks every sale and how it splits between the parties, and at month end produces one net settlement that offsets online against on-site. Percentages are configurable and transparent: no more end-of-season spreadsheets.

What does the platform cost?

The typical bike park model is revenue share, with no fixed costs: up to 80% to you on online sales — and the SHARED.MEDIA share includes payment gateway fees — while on site you cash 100% and pay a software fee from 15%. Terms are finalised in the contract.

What if the rider doesn’t buy at the desk?

That’s the strength: the gallery stays online and automatic emails (including abandoned-cart recovery) bring riders back to purchase in the following days — that’s where the extra 20% of sales comes from.
